Websites & Apps

A website that shows up where your customers actually ask

Customers now ask ChatGPT and Google's AI, not just Google search. FirstCoast.ai builds fast, modern sites and web apps structured so both recommend you, with an embedded chat agent capturing leads around the clock.

The Snapshot is a real analysis of your current site: AI visibility, search, speed. Delivered within one business day.

What we build

Design & development

New sites and web apps built on a modern stack (Next.js, TypeScript, React), designed for your business instead of poured into a template.

  • New AI-ready websites and web applications
  • Legacy modernization: current design, mobile optimization, security, and AI capability added to what you already have
  • Campaign landing pages that convert and feed your CRM and email tools
  • E-commerce with secure checkout and backend product, inventory, and order management

Our AI Visibility service, built to be the answer

Search is splitting between Google results and AI answers, and most sites are only built for one of them. Every FirstCoast.ai site ships structured for both: clean, verifiable content that a search engine can crawl and rank, and that same content structured so ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews can read it, quote it, and recommend you by name. That means real markup, real page speed, and an answer stated in plain language near the top of the page, not a set of tricks layered on after the site is built.

  • AI Visibility: content and markup structured so AI engines like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity can read, quote, and recommend you
  • Technical SEO: fast pages, clean structure, and the markup Google rewards
  • Embedded AI chat agent trained on your business, capturing and qualifying leads 24/7

In plain terms

What is AI Visibility?

Ranking on a page of blue links is no longer the whole game. AI Visibility is being the source an answer gets built from: read, trusted, quoted, and recommended by ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews, even when nobody ever clicks through to your site.

SEO: Search Engine Optimization
Competes for a position in a ranked list of links. The reader still scans results and decides which one to open, so the click is the goal.
AEO: Answer Engine Optimization
Targets the one direct response: featured snippets, voice assistants, "position zero". It predates the current AI engines and aims to be the single answer rather than an option in a list.
GEO: Generative Engine Optimization
Aims at the moment a model composes its reply, so your content is what it draws on and attributes. Narrower than the other two: it is about the generation step specifically.
AI Visibility: how we build
The whole job, not one slice of it. Structure, schema markup, and verifiable facts so any engine, ranked or generative, can find you, understand what you do, and repeat it accurately.

The acronyms overlap, and the industry hasn't settled on where one ends and the next begins. We don't sell them separately: a site that's genuinely readable (clean structure, accurate markup, facts an engine can verify) is the thing all four are asking for.

Find out how your current site performs

Tell our assistant your web address and we'll run a real analysis: how you show up in AI answers, search fundamentals, page speed, and a few technical checks. You get a summary by email, usually within one business day, and a short call walks through the full findings.

It's the quick preview of the full Discovery Audit.

Questions we get asked

  • Do you build on WordPress, Squarespace, or a similar platform?

No. Every FirstCoast.ai site is custom-built on a modern stack: Next.js, TypeScript, and React, the same tools serious engineering teams use, not a page builder with a monthly plugin bill attached. That means faster load times, real control over the code, and no platform lock-in if you ever want to move the site elsewhere. If you already have a WordPress or Squarespace site, we can still modernize it in place rather than starting over.

  • Can you improve my existing site instead of a full rebuild?

Yes. Legacy modernization is one of the services we build: current design, mobile optimization, security fixes, and AI capability layered onto what you already have, not a rebuild from a blank page. We start with the free Site Snapshot to see exactly what your current site is doing well and where it is costing you, then scope the modernization from there. Some sites need a full rebuild and some just need the right fixes, and the Snapshot is what tells you which one you actually have.

  • How long does a new site take to build?

Often a few weeks for a working prototype, depending on how much the site needs to do. A campaign landing page or a straightforward business site moves fastest. E-commerce with inventory and order management, or a legacy modernization touching a lot of existing code, takes longer. Every project is milestone-based, so you review and approve the work at each stage rather than waiting until the end to see anything.

  • Do I own the site once it's built?

Yes, completely. The code, the content, and the accounts are yours on final payment, in writing, before we start. If you ever want to move hosting elsewhere or bring development in-house, nothing about how the site is built locks you into staying with us.

  • What does the free Site Snapshot actually check?

A real analysis of your current site, not a generic scorecard: how you show up in AI answers like ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews, search fundamentals, page speed, and a handful of technical checks that affect whether people can even find you. You get a summary by email, usually within one business day, and a short call walks through the full findings. There is no sales pitch built into it. It is the same free preview whether you end up building with us or not.

  • Who hosts the site once it is live?

Either of us, whichever you prefer. We can host and manage it under a Managed Services plan, which keeps it monitored, patched, and backed up without you thinking about it, or you can host it yourself or with your current provider and we hand off a clean deployment. Nothing about the build changes based on who ends up hosting it.
